Rosewill Thor V2 Computer Case
Probably the most impressive about Thor-V2 is the immense room available inside with its six HDD trays supporting 3.5” (and/or) 2.5” HDD/SDD (solid state drive) devices. Hard drives can easily be installed via trays included with the case from the manufacture, making HD installation a breeze. Each tray incorporates use of rubber-washers to reduce noise vibration, something which plagues gamers to no-end (nothing like hearing a dinosaur device clunking and clacking around, right?).
Thor-V2 surprisingly does not require many screws when installing peripheral devices, making it an easy-install for CD-ROMS and hard drivers—though as mentioned each HDD will require its own bracket attached to the drive with a few screws. After each HDD bracket is installed, simply slide the drive and bracket into the desired bay.
The front and left side panel of the Thor-V2 supports two pre-installed 230mm red LED fans which also illuminates beautifully. Not to worry, however, as the LEDs will not light up your room like Chicago’s O’Hare international airport at night. Instead the case illuminates a nice subtle red glow which titillates the cases’ black color scheme quite well. Users also have the option to turn off/on the front LED made available by a switch located in front of the case.
Those who enjoy upgrading to the latest and greatest heatsinks and liquid cooling devices will be happy to know that Thor-V2 sports a large opening on the motherboard back-plate for easy access. Every PC-builder knows the pain and suffering caused when a case requires motherboard removal—knuckles will bleed somewhere, somehow in the process.

Those looking to jump into extreme over-clocking with water cooling kits (more specifically the Corsair H100 CPU cooler) will be happy to know that Rosewill kept that in-mind. Located on the back are four pre-cut holes with rubber grommets to help prevent any damage to hose-lines running in and out of the case. This makes Thor-V2 ideal for those who might also be looking to install their own water cooling kit. With the pre-cut holes straight out of the box, this cuts down on extra modifications needed to prep the case for liquid cooling.
