NXP sneak peek at new engineering workbench app

Semiconductor company NXP has expanded on its iPhone efforts by launching a brand new iPad app, meant to help engineers put together projects, store and easily share them.

The app, currently in beta, is based on the NXP product inventory. The app allows engineers to scroll through NXP’s product library accessing product specs, including datasheets and application diagrams, build projects using available components, share with others in their workgroup and push to social media networks.

NXP app will be available on the app store soon, said Sander Arts, vice president of marketing and communications at NXP, adding that any engineers interested in testing it could contact EE Times.
