NVIDIA Tegra 4 spec leak, quadcore A15 in 2013
NVIDIA‘s next-gen Tegra 4 chipset will use the 4-PLUS-1 configuration as the Tegra 3 – but with newer ARM A15 cores. The company’s new chipsets will run anywhere between 1.5 Ghz and 2Ghz and depend on its targeted range of mainstream or flagship markets.
“Four processors will be launched on the market in 2013 after another. Four processors, the current exposure of all 4-PLUS-1 core, still do not know whether there are differences with the structure of the Tegra 3, the clock may be noted some of the slightly increased. The NVIDIA’s very intimate for the processor under some definitions, but also saw the LTE’s first support for the Tegra 4, the Tegra 3 is unable to support LTE networks, smart phones caused some of the LTE network turning to Qualcomm processor.” VR-Zone said on its blog.
Quadcore may or may not be used for mobile devices, but the A15 Tegra 4 might be a surprise for ultrabook laptops spinning off of Windows 8 operating system — and just might be the aim Nvidia is looking at.
