New Star Wars game announcement on May 31

While Kinect Star Wars has had some success, Star Wars The Old Republic seems to be holding on by thread (seriously, FPS developers should stop attempting at MMORPG games). Star Wars fans, on the other hand, are strong with the force and continue to hold on to hope that someone, somewhere can produce the right balance.

On May 31st LucasArts will debut its next new Star Wars game on Spike TV’s pre-E3 episode airing on Thursday. It will also include game-play footage as well be revealed at the next E3 itself. While neither Kinect Star Wars and EA’s semi-failure Star Wars: The Old Republic were published by LucasArts, the new Star Wars game will in fact be by company itself and is said to be what fans have been waiting for (start holding breath now).

So while “The newest game franchise in the Star Wars Universe,” is about to debut, is it safe to say: may the schwartz be with you?
