Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS BETA expected soon

Windows 8 BETAWhile Microsoft has not officially given a release date on its Windows 8 operating system, the Beta is rumored to release in February 2012. However a stable version of the Beta might come out as early as January, according to sources. Not much has been released about the latest operating system but critics are citing its Beta release will be much like its predecessor.

Whether released in January or February, it is possible a final release of Windows 8 could come as soon as late 2012 from leaked documents and public statements by Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer, but still speculation at this point. (Beta=Ballmer’s ETA?) In early November screen shots surfaced of Windows 8 showing off start screen color customization’s and start screen backgrounds, as well changes to app navigation.

Unfortunately the Beta will skip the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 next year as Microsoft has not slated it for the event.
