Guild Wars 2: Get your game on – and start downloading!

ArenaNet is sending emails to its fans who pre-ordered Guild Wars 2 — pointing them to the executable to start the download process. Download speeds are moving along for the amount of emails the company has already send out. If you have not heard anything as of yet, ArenaNet is reminding those to continue checking their inbox’s. ArenaNet has also published the US and EU servers lists that will be available for the game.

“We’re writing to let you know that your spot in the upcoming Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event has been reserved—and the beta client is now ready for preloading! We recommend that you begin your download as soon as possible so you’re ready to start playing when the festivities begin on Friday, April 27, at noon PDT (GMT -7). The Beta Weekend Event will end Sunday, April 29, at 11:59 p.m. PDT (GMT -7). ”

“Once you’ve obtained the client, we recommend that you allow it to update overnight, as there will still be a large number of files that will need to be downloaded before you can play the game. Make sure that you have at least 15 GB of space available on your PC’s hard drive.” — so be sure to make room for one of the most anticipate games to date!
