Diablo 3 ‘Offline Single Player’ petition ?
No surprise seeing a petition pop up for Diablo III, as fans are extremely frustrated at Blizzards latest game release forcing players to be online in solo mode. Diablo I and II did not require players to be logged on while playing solo — not so this time around.
While players can still enjoy a solo play of Diablo III, the game relies heavily on an internet connection — so your so-call solo play is determined by how great your internet connection is. Players have discussed within game and on forums about the games latency averaging around 300, and some of those live in California where the servers are located.
For a multi-billion dollar company to take any petition serious is much like mixing oil with water — but fans are determined.
The petition reads:
Diablo 3 Offline Single Player Patch
Twenty years have passed since the Prime Evils were defeated and banished from the world of Sanctuary. Now you must return to Tristram and investigate rumors of a fallen star, an omen that the End Times have begun. This is Diablo 3.
Why this petition is important:
http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/diablo-iii
The Meta-critic and worldwide Diablo Hardcore fans want an Offline Single Player Patch.
Reasons are as follows:
Want to play anytime and anywhere without having the worry of an internet connection.
Some fans can’t afford a great internet connection.
Create Two Accounts: Online Player/Offline Player
$60 Price tag should warrant you play the game how you want.
Interesting, but sadly I do not see Blizzard taking this serious.
