Apple pulls Mac OS X Lion and Snow Leopard updates
After Apple’s quality control procedures fail, Mac OS X Lion (10.7.3) delta update gets pulled after discovering application crash. Apple recently released a large security update for its two operating systems, but later withdrew the OS updates after both presented bugs.
Apple has also pulled its Mac OS X Snow Leopard’s security update after reports of it breaking Rosetta, the PowerPC compatibility layer allowing applications compiled for PowerPC Macs running on Intel. Apple has released a second update which reportedly fixes the bug with Rosetta after complaints of application crashes.
Users currently can download a 1.3GB file in the meantime and avoided the Mac OS X Software Update.
