Apple begins iPad 3 production
While no release date has officially been announced, the expected unveiling is set for March 2012 time-frame. The iPad 3 is also rumored to be slightly thicker than that of the iPad 2. It will, however, feature the Retina Display that has famed Apple’s iPhone 4 and 4s mobile phones. iPad 2 was originally thought to feature the Retina Display, but unfortunately did not.
Oddly the first rumors of the iPad 3 were said that its thickness would be thinner, but latest speculation deflects that. Either way an iPad with Retina Display will make it a more competitive tablet device to fire back in the tablet wars abroad.
“The new part, when compared with iPad 2, shows a different arrangement in internal circuitry, hinting a major re-design. The tail end of the part makes a “U-turn”, whereas the iPad 2′s Microphone Mic Flex Cable makes almost 90-degree turn both ways.” Mike Webb from Cydia Blog said.
If these speculations are not enough, there is even one that suggests the new iPad 3 will be “rimless” and “transparent”, and with a display size of 2048×1536 resolution. The internet sure feels like Mayberry at times, with its small-town rumor-mill hard at work. But that is just dandy by us, and besides: “Aunt Bee” Taylor’s pies were to die for.
